Refund policy

Last updated: July 2026

1. Our Commitment

At KODA, we want our customers to have a positive shopping experience. This Returns & Refund Policy explains when a return, replacement, repair, or refund may be available.

Nothing in this Policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

2. Change of Mind

We do not offer refunds, exchanges, or store credits for:

Change of mind;

Incorrect product selection;

Orders placed by mistake;

Products no longer wanted after purchase.

Please choose carefully before completing your order.

3. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products

If you receive a product that:

arrives damaged;

is defective;

is significantly different from its description; or

does not meet the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law,

please contact us as soon as reasonably practicable after receiving your order.

Depending on the circumstances and your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, refund, or another appropriate remedy.

4. Return Requests

Before returning any item, you must contact KODA for return authorisation.

We may request information such as:

your order number;

photographs of the product;

photographs of the packaging (where relevant);

a description of the issue.

This information helps us assess your request and work with our fulfilment partners where necessary.

Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted.

5. Return Conditions

Where a return is approved, products should be returned:

in their original condition where reasonably possible;

with original packaging where available; and

together with any accessories or included components.

Products that have been intentionally damaged, modified, misused, or used contrary to the manufacturer's instructions may not qualify for a remedy unless required under Australian Consumer Law.

6. Return Shipping

If a return is required due to a product that is faulty, defective, incorrect, or otherwise covered by the Australian Consumer Law, KODA will work with the customer to determine the most appropriate return process.

For returns that are not required under Australian Consumer Law, if accepted at our discretion, the customer may be responsible for any associated shipping costs.

7. Processing Refunds

Where a refund is approved, it will generally be issued using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed or required by law.

Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider or financial institution.

8. Non-Returnable Items

Unless required by Australian Consumer Law, we may decline returns for products that:

have been used beyond reasonable inspection;

have been damaged after delivery through misuse or improper handling;

have been altered or modified after purchase;

cannot be resold due to hygiene, health, or safety reasons where applicable.

9. Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to:

a replacement or refund for a major failure; and

compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Nothing in this Policy limits or excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
